Welcome to Little Friends Foundation

Little Friends Foundation was established to improve the standards of healthcare throughout the Bay Islands of Honduras. Little Friends Foundation (LFF) is a legally registered Honduran not-for-profit organization. All of our board members are concerned citizens of our beloved islands and care about the health of its people.

None of our board members receive monetary compensation for the work we are doing except for the satisfaction of knowing we are helping take steps closer to a healthier community. Our ultimate goal is to obtain a new healthcare center capable of providing appropriate inpatient and outpatient services with an emphasis on emergency medicine. A medical center centrally located on the island for equal access to all residents and visitors.

Dedication services for the NEW French Harbour Public Health Center took place on October 19, 2007. In attendance was the Mayor, Dale Jackson, Honduran representatives from the Ministry of Health, Bay Islands Health Director and the LFF board of directors and many other distinguished guests.

Medical & Dental Services Available!!

Nurse Manager, Santa Castillo, anxious to start receiving her patients!! Clinic is open to anyone in need of medical and dental care, located in French Harbour just past the police station.

On average 40 patients are seen a day, on a really busy day the staff may see up to 80.
